Process

First, let me tell you a little bit about me.  I’m Kathy Kitts, founder and Director of NeuGrowth Center for Brain-Training.  I have over 27 years of experience studying how the brain grows and develops and putting theory into practice.  My interest began in 1989, when I took my first course at The Institutes for the Achievement of Human Potential (www.iahp.org).  The Institutes started out helping children with hurt brains, and then added parents with well children.  Their work is amazing.  I quickly applied what I had learned to my two sons and years later, was amazed at the results.  I am also affiliated with The Amen Clinic, (www.TheAmenClinic.com) run by Dr. Daniel Amen, who has taken over 80,000 pictures of the brain, and fixes many of them.  I’ve created and facilitated numerous summer camps for The Smithsonian Associates (www.TheSmithsonianAssociates.com) including for the annual Folklife Festival , MD Science Center (www.MarylandScienceCenter.org),  and my own robotics, solar energy, cultural and STEM-oriented (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) fun summer camps.  Recently I was certified by The Upside Down Organization, a branch of The Children’s Guild in Baltimore to be a professional speaker and trainer of brain-related topics (www.theupsidedownorganization.org)Click here for a list of programs I speak on and train for.

What’s In It For Me?

The benefits for you are many.  How would you like a sharper memory?  The ability to recall something at lightning speed?  How about being able to speed read and retain what you read? To remember where you put the TV remote, your eyeglasses, your keys, where you parked your car?  For some of these things, we teach you strategies and tips to help make recall easier.  If you had an absolutely fabulous memory, what could you do?  You could take in great chunks of information, be a Chess Master, get promoted, invent something really useful, become an actuary, write the next great novel or work of non-fiction.  You could become the greatest neurosurgeon in history!  You name it.  The sky’s the limit when your memory is unlimited.
